Clickthrough Charts

May 30th, 2010

Click on an activity and jump to it!

Some Analysis charts such as Routes, Pace, and Performance show activities and routes which you might want to visit. We did. So we added the functionality to allow you to click on any activity or route in Analysis and jump straight to that item in RunPartner. This tighter integration of Analysis charts will make your log explorations even more intuitive.

Update

Routes Ranked

May 29th, 2010

View most run routes

We all have routes we love to run. For our diligent loggers who use RP Maps and routes, now you can see just how much you run on all those routes. You can also check out your run partners’ favorite routes.

Visit Analysis > Routes to see your top 10 routes by mileage over any time period. Hover over the bars to see the route names (sorry, but names are too long to label directly).

NOTE: route mileage has not been broken out into Training, Workout, Competition and Warm Up & Cool Down. If you think this information is a must have, drop us a comment below.

Update

Now Reratable

May 22nd, 2010

Example Rerating

Perhaps you’ve given a rating you wished you could take back? Was that three legged race really worth 5 stars? Should a world record only get three stars?

Don’t fret, just rerate. Once you’ve rated an activity by clicking on the number of desired stars, just click again and your original vote will be subplanted. That was easy!

Update

Slightly Demurred

May 18th, 2010

We just wanted to offer our apologies to any RP users that noticed a small downtime that RP had earlier this week.

On Monday, May 19th, RP was down for 53 minutes mid day. Our hosting company Dreamhost had an issue. We contacted them immediately and it was rectified.

Why are we telling you this? We want you to know that RP is continuously monitored by our robot minions (really) and if it is down for over a minute, we get emails, texts and calls automatically and spring into action. If RP is down, we hurt inside. Our apologies for any inconvenience.

NOTE: Current RP 2010 uptime – 99.94%

Update

Activity Trail

May 11th, 2010

The core of RunPartner is the Activity. You log, read, rate and comment your run partners’ activities. To display these connections we have consolidated the prior Activity, Comment, and Rating boards into a cohesive Activity Trail.

Here’s how it works. Activities appear in descending chronological order:

  • Click a comment or rating to view the activity it references
  • Click a person’s name or picture to view their profile
  • Click More to load more activities into the trail

Note that nested (indented) comments and ratings refer to the activity above them.

Like it, love it, hate it? Drop us a comment below!
